MassMailer Licences – A Brief

MassMailer is a powerful and easy-to-use marketing solution that enables you to create and manage mass email campaigns to help you reach your target audience easily and effectively. Made specifically for Salesforce CRM, it is designed to overcome all the limitations plaguing them.

This blog will give you a brief walk-through of all the tabs available in MassMailer and give you a brief overview of what each tab is designed to do and who can access them.

To determine which tabs are accessible, it is important to understand MassMail’s different license types. Each license type grants access to specific tabs. Therefore, gaining a better understanding of these license types is crucial.

The types of users or licenses that MassMailer offers are:

Admin License

This user can access all the features of MassMailer, such as creating and sending email campaigns, managing domains and IP addresses, setting up sender authentication, and viewing analytics and reports.

Each plan includes one admin license by default, and you can add more admin licenses for $60 per user per month. Users with an Admin Licence, i.e., MassMailer admins, can turn on and off individual tabs for each user.

Full Access User License

A full-access user license gives a user full access to all the features and tabs except the MassMailer Setup tab, whose access is limited to MassMailer Admins.

Editor-Only License

A user with an editor-only license has the ability to create and edit email templates. This can be done via the Drag and Drop Template builder or custom HTML.

It is important to note that these users cannot send or schedule any email campaigns or their associated analytics. Add-on editor-only licenses are available for $15 per user per month.

Read-Only License

As the name implies, a user with a read-only license can only view email campaigns, reports, or analytics.

Each plan (Basic, Pro, and Premier) includes one read-only license by default, which is reserved for the MassMailer guest user only and cannot be assigned to an end user. Additional read-only licenses can be added for $15 per user per month.

Community Access User Licence

The Community Access User Licence is limited to Salesforce Customer Experience users. It gives them access to send emails and create templates and other privileges, similar to the full access user license.
