  4. Once your template is finalized, you need to create an email alert on the user object.
  5. To do so, navigate to Setup > Build > Create.
  6. On this screen, select Workflow and Approvals. Then, click Email Alerts.

You also need to set up a process on the user object so that a welcome email is sent to new users. Here are the steps to do so.

  1. Select Name > Setup > App Setup.
  2. Then, click Create. Under Create, click Workflow and Approvals.

  5. Click Save to save all your changes.
